I am Truly Blessed to Serve

Updated: May 17, 2024

It is interesting how our worldviews affect our perspectives. And most certainly on how we conduct our personal and business affairs. In May of this year, I was hospitalized and treated for a pituitary tumor. The surgery was successful. As a long-term result, I must take hormonal replacements to avoid serious, serious medical conditions (adrenal insufficiency). I write this, not because of sympathy, or because of fear - my faith and confidence in God has kept me assured.

I write this noting that just a mere 70 years ago, this was a death sentence. I believe, though, miracles are performed through discovery, through gifts given to amazing doctors, nurses, and the like. I believe that if I'm still alive and breathing, I have purpose.

This brings me to everyone else. In my worldview, you are reading this, you still have purpose. It is this ethic, this belief, this persevering faith, which has driven me to leave the world of W2s and start on my own. To start, first, with a passion to help others. Hopefully, to help others save lives of strangers I may never ever meet, but I'm okay with that!

So many people, like many here, and others not on this forum, who have inspired me through my life's journey. I hope and pray you find your purpose, and if it helps others, you, too, will be blessed!
